Our Story

Wildgather began with a pair of boots and a canvas bag. Every herb we sell is walked to, cut by hand at the right point in the season, and dried the slow way — in shade, on the air, never forced through a factory dryer.

One forager, one standard

There is no warehouse behind Wildgather and no wholesale middleman. The hills of the Balkans are quiet, clean, and generous if you know where to look. We harvest small, take only what a meadow can spare, and leave the roots to grow again next year.

Why slow-dried matters

Aromatic herbs live in their essential oils. Push them through heat and those oils evaporate, leaving colour but little scent. We dry ours in moving shade over several days so the oils stay locked in the leaf. Open a pouch and you will smell the difference immediately.

Packed fresh, in 200 g

Each herb is sealed in a resealable, airtight 200 g pouch and marked with its harvest batch. That is enough for weeks of tea, cooking, or infusions — and small enough that it never sits losing aroma.
